I took this on the Big Island in Hawaii. I liked all the contrasts in the picture. The white is pieces of coral and the black is lava. I also liked the faint mountains in the background.
It was a disappointing weekend, now what?

This is beautiful. This is one of the kind of places I wish I'd been able to visit when I visited Hawaii.

Hawaii is so photogenic and you captured it well.

Apart from all the things you have listed, I paeticulaely like the two areas of gentle green that set off the otherwise monochromatic picture to perfection.

Nice beach, but you'd have to have pretty stour boots to walk there.
