"Living life in shades of gray."
In Austria, there is only one of these things, but the people of Austria were asked by the government in 1978 if it should be brought on line, but people decided, NO, and so it comes that Austria has no single atomic plant on its territory. So it was never opened!ATOMKRAFT NEIN DANKE was our slogan then! :)We have a great deal of rivers in Austria, so there is no lack of energy...Thanks for posting that!!!
Yes! There is a sci fi atmosphere about these shapes! I think of squished flying saucers for some reason! Great pic!
Doodoodoodoo (supposed to be scary music here). Yeah, I think of Three Mile Island. Well, it's better than some of the sites off the northern part of the New Jersey Turnpike. No greenery there.
Ahh, Bellefonte. Memories of childhood. I think it was under construction when Three Mile Island had their little mishap. These two were never brought online. They look like giant air rifle pellets to me.
Awesome catch..... Great job! Reminds me the saying,,,, We never know how high we are, till we are called to ris; and then, if we are true to plan, our statures touch the sky... Happy Skywatch! Hope you can visit my SWF entry too...
cool shot - and yes, a bit eerie too. Happy SWF
Looks like Three Mile Island here!

Cool.. eerie?, no.Beautiful? Yes!
Really like this pic, thanks for postingCheershttp://reginainpictures.blogspot.com/
Yes they are really eerie. Nice to find your blog. I also live a happy life with my Labradors. Thanks to Skywatch Friday which connects us all.
They make me shiver -- but are a great (and different) submission for SkyWatch Friday.
They look like overgrown clay pitchers. They do makeforaninteresting photo.
They have a definite sci-fi feel about them.
Absolutely! This shape is etched on my brain as a sign of dancer as much as a skull and crossbones!
That's a great composition, but they do look like space invaders, they are so smooth, like a car salesman and somehow threatening.
Very much so!! When you drive by them at a distance they look much closer than they are. They are SO strange.
Wonderful symmetry in this piccie
A unique shot for skywatch~nice! Yep, eerie indeed! :)Have a great week, and Happy sky~watching!Cat
