"Living life in shades of gray."
It's cotton-pickin time in Madison County, AL.
I must say the glories of the cotton field are certainly show with the blue skies.
The cotton fields against the sky is excellent. Very interesting.
I was in 7th grade the first time I saw a field of cotton. I don't see them often even now. They always intrigue me when I do. These are terrific photos of cotton fields. (And the sky!)
Neat shot, the cotton makes it look like the clouds are on the ground instead of in the sky.
Outstanding shots. I am so very glad that you showed this to us. Never seen a cotton field before. Thanks.
Unlike others who have posted, I grew up in cotton fields, and I miss seeing the white fields in the fall. I love it when the loose cotton accumulates along the road side - it's the closest thing we ever had to snow!Congrats to Rush - hope he finishes in Priceville like his roomie Jenna!
You have very nice photos! I loved the last one! Beautiful blue sky with the cotton field.Happy Skywatch!
That is SO interesting... I believe I saw cotton growing in California when I was a kid, but I've never really been to the South, so I've never seen anything like this...
I loved this one. The cotton fields against the blue sky is so wonderful. Thanks for showing the closeup of the cotton. I enjoyed my visit today. Have a great weekend.
Shades, you always have the most interesting shots. Great images of fluffy white cotton against brilliant blue skies. AWESOME!
