I was in 7th grade the first time I saw a field of cotton. I don't see them often even now. They always intrigue me when I do. These are terrific photos of cotton fields. (And the sky!)

Neat shot, the cotton makes it look like the clouds are on the ground instead of in the sky.

Unlike others who have posted, I grew up in cotton fields, and I miss seeing the white fields in the fall. I love it when the loose cotton accumulates along the road side - it's the closest thing we ever had to snow!

Congrats to Rush - hope he finishes in Priceville like his roomie Jenna!

That is SO interesting... I believe I saw cotton growing in California when I was a kid, but I've never really been to the South, so I've never seen anything like this...
